It is quite exhaustive to research each head separately without having any proper mechanism to compare them.  Therefore, I have created a list of the newest womens lacrosse heads so that you guys can easily browse through the upgrade and make informed choices. Best Newest Womens Lacrosse Heads The following is the list of the best newest womens lacrosse heads: Epoch Purpose 15° 3D Elite Runner Women’s Lacrosse Head View on sportstop Key Features Pocket Location Zone 4 High Stiffness Average # Stringing Holes: Top and Double Sidewalls 4 and 22 on each side Year Released 2023 The Epoch Purpose 15° 3D Elite Runner is the most versatile and trustworthy variant of the Purpose series. This head promised to serve all the needs of an elite player for catching, cradling, passing, shooting, and ground balls. I could not help but wonder about the 3D Elite Runner women’s mesh. Engineered for the new generation of elite athletes, it promised the benefits of mesh with the feel of leather. With its patented 15° bottom rail and zone 4 high pocket, I was interested to see how it would perform on the field. Taking it for a test run, I immediately noticed its capabilities.  High-speed catching became a breeze as the ball nestled snugly into the bigger predefined sweet spot of the pocket. Cradling through the field felt effortless, although I had to make slight adjustments for vertical cradling. Shooting with the 3D Elite Runner was a great experience. The ball rolled up high just before release, ensuring powerful shots with bullseye’s accuracy. I found myself hitting the corner successfully over 90% of the time. With its rounded scoop, the ground balls were easy to scoop up, The tri-diamond stringing added a greater hold to the pocket, giving me superior whip and control. I can affirm that the large, medium, and small diamond stringing pattern ensured a deep pocket with minimal side-to-side rattle. It has four mesh pillars for durable structural integrity. What I particularly appreciated was its sturdy yet flexible build. Made with a composite injected polymer, it maintained its shape without pinching in. The lip on the top of the head also protected the strings from damage. While the Purpose 15° 3D Elite Runner impressed me, it needs breaking in for a consistent release. With its HT Poly technology for all-weather performance and structural integrity,  the Epoch Purpose 15° 3D Elite Runner surely felt like a next-gen offense head to me. Pros Sturdy Build Tri-Diamond Technology 3D Elite Runner Pocket HT Poly Knit Pattern Mesh Pillars Cons Needs to Break in Requires Skill to Use Epoch Purpose 15° Cotton Candy Pro Mesh Women’s Lacrosse Head View on sportstop Key Features Pocket Location Zone 4 High Stiffness Average # Stringing Holes: Top and Double Sidewalls 4 and 22 on each side Year Released 2023 Epoch released a limited Cotton Candy edition of the Purpose 15° Pro Mesh in the summer of 2023. This is one of those few heads that serve all the purposes of an elite lacrosse player. Be it catching, cradling, passing, shooting, or ground balls.  Intrigued by the pending patent 15° bottom rail and zone 4 high pocket, I took it on the field to review its overall performance. I started with high-speed catching. The ball would drive high up in the pocket to its predefined sweet spot. I easily cradled through the field. However, I had to adjust ball placement while vertical cradling. Similar was the case with shooting. Right before I threw powered shots, the ball would roll up high and leave the head with high velocity and accuracy. I hit the corner 7 out of 8 attempts. The rounded scoop helped me with the ground balls. The spine-like stringing created more depth in the pocket. Due to this, I felt more whip, hold, and control over the head.  Personally, I liked the structure and build. It is made with a composite injected polymer that neither felt sturdy nor too flexible. But this did not compromise its utility as the bottom rail is supported by one strut. The head did not pinch in.  The lip on the top of the head protects the strings from damage If you want to have a unique head that performs well and looks aesthetic, this is what you should go for as each head is dyed differently. This one is for all the midfielders who demand nothing but the best from their sticks. Released in 2023, I feel that the Ascent+ head is a good choice for the midfielders because of its rich utility. The Ascent+ features a specialized design with a 22° release angle and enhanced stiffness. The 22° release angle is between the rail and the scoop. It is perfect for midfielders who demand accuracy and power in their game. I have experienced a significant improvement in my shooting accuracy and power thanks to this feature.  I feel that the XRAIL technology has solidified the stability and control of this head. With the enhanced stiffness, I was able to deliver powerful shots and precise passes consistently on the field. Like most midfield heads, it has a tight face profile with a predefined mid-pocket location sweet spot. I did not have to break in the pocket to create a channel for snagging in the ball. I have never been successful at stringing a Mesh and Braided pocket system because it is a tough pattern to
