Despite looking bulky, Maverik Shift lacrosse gloves are exceptionally lightweight at just 4.7 oz. They offered great flexibility with extended finger breaks and the Power Flex design.
The Connekt Palm gave me a slipless grip, even during rain-soaked practices, and I didn’t need to break them in at all. The open cuff also allowed smooth wrist movement. However, I missed the wrist strap, as it affected the glove’s security on thinner wrists.

The Maverik Max gloves are becoming famous as among the most flexible lacrosse gloves. They have multiple finger breaks for a comfortable stick grip.
Moreover, its Magnetic cuff provides a more natural wrist snap when passing or shooting than the single-piece design. The Synthetic Suede palm felt soft but grippy, even when wet, and the airflow design kept things drier than expected during summer.
Furthermore, triple-density foam provided maximum protection from slashes, especially around the fingers and thumb. Despite multiple hits over the thumb, there was no stringer effect. However, they felt slightly bulky compared to the Maverik Charger and STX RZR.

Having previously used the Maverik M5, I can confidently say that the M6 gloves offer improved performance and comfort. The addition of features like DuraStretch material, Connect Palm, and FlowCool ventilation are what I was looking for in a lacrosse glove.
The DuraStretch pad panel material significantly enhances flexibility, mobility, and durability. I tested it with my usual wrist exercises involving flexion and extension, and it performed excellently without restricting my movements. Further, it effectively protected the impact zones of my hands.
While the Maverik M6 gloves maintain a traditional fit, the added volume in the fingers and back of the hand notably improves comfort by 30%, as claimed by the Maverik team.
The Connect Palm feature has a notably improved grip feel. The suede texture, with its slightly rough and velvety surface, creates ample friction to improve grip strength.
One of my favorite features is the Quick Dry FlowCool ventilation system. The strategically placed ventilation holes on the fingers and palms prevent sweat accumulation. Despite suede typically being associated with cold weather grip, the ventilation design makes a significant difference.
I also liked the adjustable closure system. I had the option to either make it a close fit to have a better grip or leave it like a flare to have more independence in movements. Both have their application benefits. I like the close fit more.

What impressed me most about the Warrior Burn XP2 gloves is the slim Impax LT compression molded foam padding. Unlike bulky padding that sacrifices mobility, these gloves offered me a good combination of protection and flexibility. The padding looks sleek and performs exceptionally well.
The application of Warrior’s Authentic Pro Palm+ grip technology was another highlight for me. It provided a superior feel and performance. The spandex gussets in the grip section, combined with heavy-duty suede. It offered me a secure and comfortable grip.
While the gloves do not feature palm ventilation holes, the inclusion of TruVent ™ on the fingers helps manage sweat accumulation. Although some sweat may accumulate in the palm area, it is negligible compared to gloves without any ventilation on the palms.
On the field, the Warrior Burn XP2 gloves delivered excellent performance. The stick remained secure without moving even a centimeter during checks and ground balls. The grip remained tacky even in humid conditions.
The best thing that I felt in these Warrior Burn XP2 lacrosse gloves is the TotalFLX+ blooming cuff. The TotalFLX+ has eliminated the need for cord loops and other adjustable closure systems and brought it to a minimum and easy closure system where I could move my wrists freely.

The Nike Vapor Premier limited edition has over 30 articulated paddings strategically placed to protect players’ impact zones. As someone who has used the original Vapor Premier, I can confirm that the limited edition maintains similar features, with the main difference being the color schemes.
One aspect I liked was the well-designed padding breaks on the stretch areas. Despite its lightweight construction, the glove does not compromise on grip or range of motion. I could freely bend my fingers and rotate my wrist without any hindrance.
The use of Nike’s proprietary DriFit technology in the Vapor Premier Limited Edition ensures quick evaporation of sweat. While playing in humid conditions, the sweat quickly evaporated without accumulating in my palm area. Part of it is due to the usage of high-quality mesh material in the palm.
The glove has an extra bit of padding on the outer side of the palm for defenders to absorb shocks while throwing punishing checks. The comfort level of these gloves is on par, and they are relatively easy to break in.
The game performance was right up to the mark. The grip remained tacky and secure. I did not feel my stick to be sliding out of my hand.
I feel that the best feature of the limited edition is the option for customization. This allows players to personalize their gloves with their numbers, surely it adds a unique touch to the gear.

The Warrior Nemesis QS glove, also known as the quick-save glove, stands out as one of the top goalie gloves with its impressive array of over 30 synthetic leather padded compartments. Released in 2020, these gloves are perfect for shot-stopper and positional male goalies.
Unlike field gloves, goalie gloves primarily function to offer superior protection and coverage for goalkeepers. The Warrior Nemesis QS glove has a larger profile. I liked the protection of impact zones, especially with the New Lock Thumb+ feature. The premium hard padding on the entire thumb effectively shields it from harsh impacts.
Not only the protection, I think the feel and flexibility of the Nemesis QS is also great. The 30+ padded compartments allowed me to move my fingers freely without feeling restricted.
One feature that impressed me was the knuckle padding for shock absorption, but what stood out even more was how well they protected the little (pinky) finger and the index finger with the inside padding. I could easily put my hands in front without having to worry about any sort of injuries.
It also features Warrior’s proprietary Authentic Pro Palm+ grip technology that brings the feel right up to the mark of protection. Despite its larger size, the open elastic cuff ensured that I did not face any issues with my wrist mobility.
However, my only critique is that the number of ventilation holes is relatively low. They should have added some holes in the palm area so that the sweat does not accumulate. Having said that, I feel that the Warrior Nemesis is that glove that gives you the confidence to make saves, block shots, and control rebounds without the risk of injury.
