Moreover, the high-quality composite material in the key slash zones provided exceptional impact protection. It distributes the impacts of hard checks across the glove. Hence, I felt no painful jolts through my hands after heavy slashes.

After wearing them through long practices and games, I could feel the difference, particularly with sweat management. My hands stayed cooler, and the gloves didn’t carry that usual post-game odor as much.

However, it’s not warm enough for winter practice hours. So, if you live in colder areas, try STX Polar glove liner. 

Performance

Epoch Integra Elite II lacrosse gloves feature an Ax Suede one-piece palm. It provides an excellent grip. I didn’t feel any seams interfering with handling, as it offers a clean, consistent connection to the stick. 

Despite the impressive grip, unlike Maverick Shift gloves, I feel it lacks the palm texture. Thus, I had difficulty maintaining my grip over the shaft in rainy weather. 

I got the natural feel of the stick while cradling and shooting, as the glove doesn’t slip. Defensively, the composite protection held up under intense slashes, especially to the thumb. I didn’t feel those thumbstrings that affected my focus on the game. 

The finger breaks on the Epoch Integra Elite II lacrosse gloves are exceptionally well-balanced, providing perfect flexibility. The inside of the pinky fingers and index fingers are also heavily padded. I have complete control over my stick without the stiffness you find in heavily protected gloves. 

Durability

Epoch Integra Elite II is one of the most durable lacrosse gloves for men, released in 2024. They are highly durable and weather-resistant, holding up well in rain and hot summers. 

I was impressed with how well they stood against my aggressively concave lacrosse shaft. The Ax Suede one-piece palm remains scratch-free. My college had the same review of the Epoch Integra Elite II lacrosse glove’s long-lasting quality. 

Despite absorbing lots of checks and slashes, the composite material in most affected areas shows no signs of breakdown. It maintained solid protection without losing flexibility and sturdiness. 

The Tri-Layer dual-density foam stacks still offer the same level of impact absorption as they did on day one, even after four months of rough practice. Even the cuff and finger padding have held up without losing shape, providing long-lasting comfort.

Epoch Integra Elite II lacrosse gloves are premium quality gloves for aggressive lacrosse players. Its design meets the demands of contact games like lacrosse and provides exceptional protection. Thus, it’s worth the premium cost. 

Although some downsides are related to grip, the flexibility, comfort, and snug fit design also improve performance and increase on-field confidence. Hence, it offers a good value for money at $160. 

However, if reduced grip during rain is a trade-off, try Maverik M6 lacrosse gloves.

Comparison With Other Gloves

Epoch Integra Elite II lacrosse gloves are slightly heavier than the newest Maverik release, The Shift, which weighs just 4.7 ounces. They’re also heavier than the Maverik M series and some STX lacrosse gloves. 

However, the tradeoff for the extra weight is clear—the added protection and shock absorption in the Integra Elite II surpasses both. The composite material in the major slash zones combined with Tri-Layer dual-density foam protection outperforms the lighter competition. 

Additionally, the Epoch Integra Elite II is superior in managing sweaty hands. While Maverik’s FlowCool technology offers decent breathability, it doesn’t absorb sweat like the Player Core Control with S. Cafe Technology in the Integra Elite II. 

Moreover, the added texture in the Maverik Shift palm wins over the lack of texture in the Integra Elite II’s Ax Suede palm. Still, it works fine in normal conditions. So, It’s one of the best lacrosse gloves for adults.
